Love this coat! Wore it skiing with only a sweat wicking shirt underneath. Kept me toasty on the chairlifts and vented well on the slopes. Thinking about trying out the hybrid hoodie next for when it isn’t quite so cold out.

Wanted an extra warm and dry layer for a winter trip to Alaska. It did the trick and I was extremely comfortable and not overly sweaty.

Yet another fantastic underlayer. I have heavily used the original pull-over BasePro top for several seasons. The full-zip version is perfect for additional layering options...fantastic for the widely varying conditions this year!

Hunt a lot in Colorado and it gets cold up here. Only need this and a shell to fight the elements. Awesome baselayer!

I wish I had this equipment when I was in the service. Although the equipment now issued to our troops have come a long way, Fortress far surpasses anything I had been issued in the 22 years of service in the U.S. Army Special Forces.

I love the new BasePro Pants 2.0. They are made from a much softer, quieter material, but still just as warm as the original! Great improvement on a Great product!

Unlike the base layer with a half zipper this base layer is easy to put on and works well.

I ordered the Base Pro 2.0 to have an additional pair of pants to go along with my Base Pro pants. I wear the L in the Base Pro, but I needed the XL in the Base Pro 2.0. The Base Pro 2.0 are very comfortable and the added zipper is convenient. They felt comfortable from the moment I put them on. The warmth and comfort is superior, I wear them all day long both inside and outside for a little added warmth. I recommend them to all, just make sure you use the sizing chart to get a proper fit.

I have a drawer filled with gloves that promised warmth. Some of the gloves were over $150.00. They were worth $20 at best. I hate cold hands. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money for the GlovePro's. Well, it's been in the single digits for 5 days by St. Louis, where I live. My hands have been toasty. I went on a 2-mile walk, it was 2F and -17F windchill. When I came in (dressed in my Basepro pants, Basepro Crew, Tundra Coat, and Balaclava), I told my wife, "I'm burning up!" I was serious. She had to help me get my Basepro Crew off because I was a bit sweaty and the Crew fits me tight. Anyway, you cannot beat Fortress Clothing for warmth and comfort in cold weather!!

These gloves, though pricey, are well worth the cost. I appreciate how the shipping was quick, as I am here in WI for crane training, from GA. Some of the cranes at the school are not heated, bur the gloves have helped to keep my hands warm.

I love it! It keeps me warm and as i heat up i can Unzip and cool down if needed.

Perfect fit and I was able to stay warm in -40F weather with blowing wind. I had a basepro and the Fortress vest underneath the jacket. Would be nice if Fortress will make pants specifically for women too.

Previously ordered a quarter zip BasePro and very pleased but the full zip version is even more versatile as can be fully unzipped as you warm up. Fabulous quality and worth every penny - to me worth the postage cost to the UK.
These products are quite remarkable - just the one layer does it in ANY UK cold weather (which is far from extreme).

I am a long time customer. I own the “old base pro top and bottom”. This is a great improvement over the old. The old style keeps you warm even on the coldest of days, however it really had no way to breathe. Putting a zipper on gives this a much larger range of comfort. I tell everyone about this company because I truly believe in and appreciate Fortress. it really works!
The service and integrity of this company is impressive as well… that’s why I own most everything that Fortress makes.

I was gifted the Shadow for Christmas after spending probably the past year debating getting a Fortress jacket. I am SO glad I finally have one and I wish I had gotten one sooner. I can walk the dog on a frozen day and be comfortable now - and even just tried out the first snowstorm with it and honestly forgot it was snowing I was so comfortable. If you've been thinking about Fortress WOW it is worth it. I love that I don’t need 8 layers to stay warm and still have full movement since the coat is not bulky. The Fortress team has also been so great with any questions I have had about sizing...this is worth the investment without a doubt.
